Coming off the culmination of television’s popular sitcom The King of Queens and 2007’s I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, comedian Kevin James takes the role of a single pop in this largely physical comedy, Paul Blart Blu-ray which the actor also co-wrote.
Paul Blart (James) is a tough worker, but has never landed his dream job of being New Jersey state trooper because of his excess weight. Anxious to support his mother and his daughter, Blart takes the slightly less glamorous post as the security guard at his local shopping mall. He never bitchs, approaching the job with provoking diligence and pride, but does not get much respect for it.
It’s only when a bunch of misfits in Santa’s Assistant disguises take hold of the mall and many hostages that Blart’s would-be cop smarts come in useful and he is getting an opportunity to shine. With a deadly situation on hand, Blart may finally be ready to show everyone ( and his romantic interest, who just happens to be one of the hostages) what he is made of. Though the villains have many edges over him, Blart has a Segway scooter and a massive heart on his side.
While plenty of its jokes come at the cost of James’s additional pounds, like other blu ray movies eventually makes its star out to be a hero. With his everyman appeal, James is well-suited to play Blart, showing that even average Joes can make a change with the right attitude. Paul Blart : Mall Cop takes the prosaic out of the shopping mall, infusing a familiar setting with energy, smirks, and high-stakes drama.
Paul Blart Blu-ray is similar to the many variations on tuna surprise that show up at potlucks : common but with a small something added to differentiate it. The final product won’t win any Oscars, but the perimeters of this slapstick action film keep James’s blitzkrieg humorous character, making for a light comic adventure I’m positive children will flip for. Co-produced by Adam Sandler, Mall Cop has an innate sweetness that’s reminiscent of Sandler’s 1998 romantic comedy The Marriage Vocalist , though the giggles don’t quite reach those levels.
Kevin James is hard not to like in Paul Blart Blu-ray. He is a huge, nerdy, friendly doofus better suited for a half-an-hour Television show like The King of Queens than attempting to carry a 90-minute movie. James takes a Segway, a cheesy mustache and the comic concept of Die Hard in a mall and bumbles his way to a lightweight but frequently funny film for the whole family.

The 3rd film in the Underworld saga goes back centuries to give an explanation for the beginning of the feud between the vampire Death Dealers and the werewolf Lycans.
Taking over directing requirements from Len Wiseman in Rise of the Lycans blu-ray, is rookie Patrick Tatoupolos, known for his creature-designing needs in Godzilla ( 1998 ), I am Legend (2007), and the 1st 2 films in this series.
Less an action-horror film than an old school “sword-and-sandal” film with monsters, Rise of the Lycans blu-ray ultimately gets to the root of why those vampires and werewolves really can’t stand one another.
Ruled by Viktor (Bill Nighy, Valkyrie ), the aristocratic, vampiric Death Dealers keep the wolflike Lycans as slaves. When a captive Lycan lady births a human boy, Viktor resists the need to kill it, instead naming him Lucian and keeping him as a pet.
Lucian ( Michael Sheen, Frost/Nixon ) grows up to be a blacksmith with the ability to change between human and wolf and begins a clandestine romance with Viktor’s child, Sonja ( Rhona Mitra, Doomsday). Viktor learns of this prohibited love and takes drastic steps to make sure that Sonja will never be in a position to see Lucian again.
Lucian, in retaliation, leads a Rise of the Lycans blu-ray slave revolt, resulting in an all-out attack on Viktor’s kingdom. Though spectators who have skipped the first two installments of the story may feel a little left out when it comes to the mythology of the series, Rise of the Lycans blue ray dvd hits the ground running and does not permit much time for queries.
While Sheen has been lauded for his work in more historically dramatic films, here he gives his all to each growl and battle cry. Mitra is an appealing presence as Sonja, and Nighy is visibly relishing the opportunity to glower in his blue contacts and chew the moonlight-bathed view.

Here’s the thing…you can essentially boost your moving-going experience by the time you selected to go. Consider these picture situations:

And the rest of the audience is far more comfortable (and tolerant) with the children in this developmental stage. Inversely , if you are an adult who wants to see a kids and long suffering ) with a minimum of youthful distractions go to the movie any time but Sat. afternoon - weekday evenings are to see a big proponent of continuing so far your spouse after marriage. For the unmarried - lots of time together is a good thing too. So date night movies should be planned with care. That is, if possible schedule a film around a bundle of activities planned for the date. Are you planning dinner, roller-blading, drinks with friends, other activities?
